ArcaneTailoringEnchantingCookingFishingFirst Aid
PlaybookUndead Mage's full plan for launch
Your plan: Tailoring + Enchanting (+ Cooking, Fishing, First Aid). The classic Mage pair, and Warcraft Tavern and Method both pick it: Tailoring makes your cloth gear and bags, Enchanting turns outgrown gear into materials and enchants everything you wear; its totem relics and idols are useful to any Shaman or Druid you group with. Enchanting rods (Copper, Silver, Golden, Truesilver, Arcanite) are Blacksmith crafts: buy them on the Auction House.

Conjured food only heals; crafted food also gives Well Fed (+5% kill XP, 8% with the Cozy Sleeping Bag). Cook between quests.

First Aid
Bandages and Healing Potions

Healing Potions are a First Aid craft in Forever. Your cloth goes to Tailoring first; bandage with the spare.

Tailoring 1–300Reported

Cloth drops from the humanoids you kill while questing, so Tailoring levels mostly from your own bags; buy thread and dye from the Tailoring Supply vendor next to each trainer. The 1–225 route is the Forever beta route from wow-professions.com. Past 225 no tested route exists yet: the beta capped professions at 225, and the guide warns most recipes grey 25 to 45 points earlier than in Classic Era, so do not use a Classic guide for 225–300. Silky, Frothing and Netherfroth cloth (Frost damage) are your own leveling gear.

What is different in Forever
  • Campsite objects: Faction Banner (20, Spirit, not with Divine Spirit), Spinning Wheel (140, camp reagents), Loom (300, Loom recipes) (Icy Veins).
  • Reagent bags gained an extra slot in Forever; new Mageweave and Runecloth reagent bags (Warcraft Tavern).
  • Eighteen new cloth sets on the ACA vendor for Merchant's Favor, each tied to a spell school: Frost (Silky, Frothing, Netherfroth), Fire (Flame, Fiery, Netherflame), Arcane (Pearly, Golden, Nethershine), plus healing, Holy and Shadow sets. Skill levels are not published.
  • Apprentice has no character-level requirement; Journeyman needs skill 50 and level 10, Expert 125 and level 20, Artisan 200 and level 35.
  • Tailoring Certification at 300 gives a title.

Enchanting 1–300Reported

Disenchant every green you outgrow; buy the rest of the dust and essences on the Auction House. Rods are Blacksmith crafts, so buy them too. The 1–225 route is the Forever beta route from wow-professions.com (two paths early: Lesser Magic Essence or Strange Dust, whichever is cheaper); 225–300 is the same guide's untested plan. Expert and Artisan are single remote trainers: Hgarth at Sun Rock Retreat and Annora inside Uldaman.

What is different in Forever
  • Enchanting now crafts wands, staves, off-hands and class relics: Shaman totems (Polished Driftwood 130, Totem of Ancestral Protection 210, Totem of Thunder 300) and Druid idols.
  • New necklace enchants: Spell Power, Healing Power, Agility, Strength, Deflection.
  • Campsite objects: Enchanted Lute (20, armor, stats and resistances; not with Mark of the Wild), Arcane Salvager (140, better disenchanting), Arcane Forge (300) (Icy Veins).
  • New low-level recipes make 1-70 cheaper than in Classic.
  • The Oct 8 build partly restored the vendor price of crafted wands, which the Oct 1 build had cut to 1 copper.
  • Disenchant is in the Professions window, not the spellbook. Annora, the Artisan trainer, appears only after you clear her area in Uldaman, and teaches every recipe from 230 on: learn them all before you leave.

Cooking 1–300Reported

Forever-specific route confirmed via wow-professions.com/forever and allthings.how camping guide, cross-checked against Classic-baseline recipe brackets (mats overlap heavily with Classic). Horde trainers: Orgrimmar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, plus Durotar/Zephras-adjacent starting-zone trainers.

What is different in Forever
  • Cooking now unlocks the Basic Campfire/camping system at skill 1 (crafted from Simple Wood + Flint and Tinder); the fire holds up to 3 crafted camp objects and grants buffs after sitting/crafting near it for 1 minute (buff lasts 1 hour).
  • At Cooking skill ~90 you unlock the Journeyman Campfire kit (5 object slots, requires Star Wood); at ~200 the Expert Campfire kit (10 object slots, requires Thick Logs).
  • Well Fed: crafted food now grants +5% bonus XP from kills (eat 10 seconds for 15 minutes of buff), stacking on top of any existing stat buff the food already gave; the Cozy Sleeping Bag (a camp object/quest reward) raises this to +8% kill XP while camped.
  • Blueprint: Cookie's Feast is a campsite recipe that drops from Cookie in the Deadmines; requires Cooking skill 140 to use. It places a shared feast table (~10 servings) giving basic healing plus the temporary 5% XP buff. Note: reported reagents are drops from level 35+ mobs, so the blueprint is commonly picked up in Deadmines well before you can supply it.
  • Expert Cookbook and Artisan cooking quest gating (below) match Classic-era structure; Forever sources do not report changes to those gates.

First Aid 1–300Reported

Bandage line (Classic-baseline, from Warcraft Tavern's Classic 1-300 guide) plus the confirmed Forever-specific change moving the Healing Potion line from Alchemy into First Aid (Icy Veins). Where the potion change alters leveling specifics beyond the six potions/skill levels below, that detail is not yet published — flagged as unknown.

What is different in Forever
  • CONFIRMED (Icy Veins): six Healing Potions have moved from Alchemy to First Aid — Minor Healing Potion (First Aid 55), Lesser Healing Potion (85), Healing Potion (135), Greater Healing Potion (155), Superior Healing Potion (215), Major Healing Potion (275).
  • These potions still require herbs and vials (Alchemy-style reagents) but reportedly ALSO require Cooking-made items (Mild Spices / Hot Spices) as a component — exact quantities per potion are not published in sources fetched.
  • UNKNOWN: whether learning these potions requires separate trainer purchase/quest beyond normal First Aid rank-ups, whether bandage skill-up rates changed to accommodate parallel potion crafting, and full reagent lists per potion. Treat the potion track as a parallel/optional track alongside the bandage track below rather than a replacement, until more detail is published.
  • No Forever-specific change to the Expert/Artisan book-and-quest gating was found; assume Classic-era gating below still applies.
