FeralRestorationHerbalismAlchemyCookingFishing
PlaybookSkyborne Druid's full plan for launch
Your plan: Herbalism + Alchemy (+ Cooking, Fishing, First Aid). Herbalism feeds Alchemy, so you never buy herbs. You make your own mana potions and elixirs, and the same herbs make First Aid’s healing potions, which moved out of Alchemy in Forever. Mana potions work in Cat and Bear Form since the Oct 8 build Official.
Herbalism
Herbs, seeds and Scarce materials along your route
SKILL 20
Incense Candle
Intellect for everyone at the camp (up to 25); not with Arcane Intellect
SKILL 140
Greenhouse
Grows a planted seed into a herb in 8 minutes
SKILL 300
Seed Hybridizer
Multiplies seeds or combines them into a rarer tier

Both Zephras Isle trainers, Halassa Fernbreeze and Syriel Nightrain, teach every rank; the isle quest Harvesting Windstones also offers the manual Wild Harvest (+2 skill, up to 15) Reported. Herb nodes drop seeds and Scarce materials (Frilled Lichen from Earthroot on); Bountiful Harvest adds up to +100% Scarce materials. The Greenhouse Blueprint drops from Shadetooth in Excavation Site: Wetlands Reported. Gathering in Travel Form is not confirmed.

Alchemy
Mana potions, elixirs and flasks for your own healing
SKILL 20
Mana Well
Mana regeneration for everyone at the camp
SKILL 140
Fermenter
Makes certain reagents; keeps the Mana Well benefit
SKILL 300
Alchemy Laboratory
Needed for some recipes; keeps the Mana Well benefit

Trainers on Zephras Isle: Iaadaria Bitterwind and Valiena Swiftgale (Valanaar), Nyassa Swiftdraught (Shen'dar Village); Journeyman is Bena Winterhoof in Thunder Bluff, Expert is Doctor Herbert Halsey in Undercity, Artisan is Rogvar in Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows Reported. Healing Potions are a First Aid craft; Alchemy keeps a Discolored healing line with a drawback. No Alchemy specializations Reported.

Herbalism 1–300Reported

Pick every herb you pass while questing: herb skill floors are unchanged from Classic, so the Druid journey from Zephras Isle through the Barrens to Winterspring keeps your skill in step with your level. Zephras Isle has more Peacebloom spawn points than any other zone, and both isle trainers teach every rank, so you can train Journeyman before you leave. Keep Find Herbs tracking on, and visit a trainer before each cap (50, 125, 200). Every herb you keep goes into your own Alchemy and First Aid.

What is different in Forever
  • Wild Harvest, a reward choice from the Zephras Isle quest Harvesting Windstones, teaches Herbalism (+2 skill, up to 15) if a profession slot is free.
  • Camp objects: Incense Candle (20; Intellect for everyone sitting at the camp, 2 to 25 by the herbalist's level, not with Arcane Intellect), Greenhouse (140; grows a planted seed into a herb in 8 minutes), Seed Hybridizer (300; multiplies seeds or combines them into a rarer tier). Camping 101: Herbalism on Zephras Isle ends at Syriel Nightrain and teaches the candle.
  • Blueprint: Greenhouse drops from Shadetooth in the Excavation Site: Wetlands dungeon (about 7%). A Greenhouse stands for 15 minutes, so it grows one seed.
  • Herb nodes also drop seeds (Commonplace Herb Seeds from Peacebloom and Silverleaf, Uncommon from Briarthorn) and Scarce materials (Frilled Lichen from Earthroot on, Rosecap, Stranglevine). Bountiful Harvest (Legacy, 5 ranks) adds up to +100% Scarce materials.
  • New herbs Marefoil, Demonsage and Death Lotus feed the new Flasks of Natural Accuracy, Aggression, Precision and Swiftness; some endgame herbs need more than 300 skill.
  • Skill boosts: Goldthorn Tea (+15 for 15 minutes, Cooking 175), Enchant Gloves - Herbalism (+2) and Advanced Herbalism (+5). A 4-slot Apprentice's Herb Pouch is sold by general and trade goods vendors.
  • Herbalism has no passive resistance bonus, despite early fan claims. Whether a Druid can gather herbs in Travel Form is not confirmed.

Trainers
Apprentice (1-75, 10c)
Halassa Fernbreeze (about 43, 43.5) and Syriel Nightrain (about 57.8, 75.4), Zephras Isle, both factions; Garan Sunstrider (Mulgore, Apprentice only)
Journeyman (skill 50, 5s)
The two Zephras Isle trainers, Komin Winterhoof (Thunder Bluff), Jandi (Orgrimmar)
Expert (skill 125, 50s)
Same trainers, plus Aranae Venomblood (Hillsbrad Foothills)
Artisan (skill 200, 5g)
Same trainers, plus Angrun (Stranglethorn Vale), Ruw (Feralas) and Malvor (Moonglade, both factions)

Data note: Trainers, the Wild Harvest manual, camp objects, seeds and Scarce materials are Forever-specific (Conquest Capped from Forever data, Icy Veins, Warcraft Tavern). Herb skill floors are Classic-baseline; the zones per bracket come from Forever spawn maps (Conquest Capped), and the beta capped professions at 225, so nothing past 225 is tested.

Alchemy 1–300Reported

Your own Herbalism supplies nearly every herb on this route, so you buy only vials, two vendor recipes and nothing else; the one exception is Firefin Snapper for Fire Oil, which you fish yourself. Craft one skill range behind your Herbalism so each step's herbs are already in your bags. Healing Potions are a First Aid craft in Forever, so Alchemy levels on elixirs and mana potions instead; 1-225 comes from Forever guides tested on the beta, 225-300 follows Classic skill ranges and is untested. Learn Apprentice on Zephras Isle; Journeyman is Bena Winterhoof in Thunder Bluff, Expert Doctor Herbert Halsey in Undercity, Artisan Rogvar in Stonard. What you keep: mana potions (they work in Cat and Bear Form), Elixirs of Wisdom, the new healer elixirs and potions, and flasks at 300.

What is different in Forever
  • Healing Potions moved to First Aid; Alchemy keeps a Discolored Healing Potion line with a drawback, made with Murloc Eyes. Mana potions stay in Alchemy.
  • Mana Potions can be used in Cat and Bear Form since the Oct 8 beta build (Blizzard); consumables work while shapeshifted.
  • Camp objects: Mana Well (20; mana regeneration at the camp), Fermenter (140; makes certain reagents and keeps the Mana Well benefit), Alchemy Laboratory (300). Some Forever recipes must be crafted next to a Fermenter or Alchemy Laboratory.
  • New Merchant's Favor recipes for healers and Ferals include Mender's Potion (more healing for a short time), Lesser and Greater Cleric's Elixir, Lesser and Greater Mageblood Elixir, Elixir of Nature Power and Elixir of Ferocity. Horde buys them from Apothecary Durelle at Durotar Supply and Logistics, just west of the Crossroads; they are bind on pickup.
  • New Artisan flasks: Flask of Natural Accuracy, Aggression, Precision and Swiftness, made with Demonsage, Marefoil and Death Lotus; their skill levels are not published.
  • No Alchemy specializations in Forever. Apprentice has no level requirement; Journeyman needs skill 50 and level 10, Expert 125 and level 20 (50s), Artisan 200 and level 35. Alchemy Certification at 300 gives a title.
  • Most combat potions share a 2-minute cooldown, so a Mender's Potion and a mana potion compete for the same slot.

Cooking 1–300Reported

Forever-specific route confirmed via wow-professions.com/forever and allthings.how camping guide, cross-checked against Classic-baseline recipe brackets (mats overlap heavily with Classic). Horde trainers: Orgrimmar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, plus Durotar/Zephras-adjacent starting-zone trainers.

What is different in Forever
  • Cooking now unlocks the Basic Campfire/camping system at skill 1 (crafted from Simple Wood + Flint and Tinder); the fire holds up to 3 crafted camp objects and grants buffs after sitting/crafting near it for 1 minute (buff lasts 1 hour).
  • At Cooking skill ~90 you unlock the Journeyman Campfire kit (5 object slots, requires Star Wood); at ~200 the Expert Campfire kit (10 object slots, requires Thick Logs).
  • Well Fed: crafted food now grants +5% bonus XP from kills (eat 10 seconds for 15 minutes of buff), stacking on top of any existing stat buff the food already gave; the Cozy Sleeping Bag (a camp object/quest reward) raises this to +8% kill XP while camped.
  • Blueprint: Cookie's Feast is a campsite recipe that drops from Cookie in the Deadmines; requires Cooking skill 140 to use. It places a shared feast table (~10 servings) giving basic healing plus the temporary 5% XP buff. Note: reported reagents are drops from level 35+ mobs, so the blueprint is commonly picked up in Deadmines well before you can supply it.
  • Expert Cookbook and Artisan cooking quest gating (below) match Classic-era structure; Forever sources do not report changes to those gates.

Fishing 1–300Reported

Forever-specific campsite tiers confirmed (wowclassicforever.info, allthings.how); zone-by-zone fishing routes are Classic-baseline since no Forever source gave detailed pool locations — fish available scale with zone level, not caster skill, per Classic mechanics reiterated by the Forever sources.

What is different in Forever
  • Fish Bowl unlocks at Fishing skill 20, giving +8% to all stats while camped.
  • Fishing Rack unlocks at Fishing skill ~140 (Journeyman-tier camp object): adds uncommon fish to the pool plus skill-boosting lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
  • Fishing Hut unlocks at Fishing skill ~300 (top tier): adds rare fish plus skill lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
  • Legacy perk 'Luremaster': while a lure is applied, 25% chance per catch to land an extra fish.
  • As in Classic, a zone's fish become catchable once your Fishing skill exceeds that zone's fish-skill floor — there is no need to 'match' skill precisely, just exceed the pool's requirement.

First Aid 1–300Reported

Bandage line (Classic-baseline, from Warcraft Tavern's Classic 1-300 guide) plus the confirmed Forever-specific change moving the Healing Potion line from Alchemy into First Aid (Icy Veins). Where the potion change alters leveling specifics beyond the six potions/skill levels below, that detail is not yet published — flagged as unknown.

What is different in Forever
  • CONFIRMED (Icy Veins): six Healing Potions have moved from Alchemy to First Aid — Minor Healing Potion (First Aid 55), Lesser Healing Potion (85), Healing Potion (135), Greater Healing Potion (155), Superior Healing Potion (215), Major Healing Potion (275).
  • These potions still require herbs and vials (Alchemy-style reagents) but reportedly ALSO require Cooking-made items (Mild Spices / Hot Spices) as a component — exact quantities per potion are not published in sources fetched.
  • UNKNOWN: whether learning these potions requires separate trainer purchase/quest beyond normal First Aid rank-ups, whether bandage skill-up rates changed to accommodate parallel potion crafting, and full reagent lists per potion. Treat the potion track as a parallel/optional track alongside the bandage track below rather than a replacement, until more detail is published.
  • No Forever-specific change to the Expert/Artisan book-and-quest gating was found; assume Classic-era gating below still applies.
  • Your own herbs cover the six healing potions: Minor (Peacebloom), Lesser (Briarthorn), Healing (Bruiseweed), Greater (Liferoot), Superior (Sungrass) and Major (Golden Sansam).
