Herbalism 1–300Confirmed

Because you gather your own herbs as a Skyborne Druid, the plan below is a Horde-first zone route from 1-300 rather than an auction-house shopping list. It follows quest-zone progression (Durotar/Mulgore/Tirisfal at low level, out to Felwood/Winterspring/Plaguelands at the top) so gathering happens naturally while leveling, with detours only where a specific herb cluster is worth a slight loop. Forever adds a seed/scarce-material layer on top of classic gathering (see forever_notes) that increases the value of every node, so prioritize node density over herb rarity when routes conflict.

What is different in Forever
  • New seed system: herb nodes now also drop seeds in four grades (Commonplace through Scarce) plus 'scarce' bonus materials. Seeds are planted in a Greenhouse camp object (unlocks at Herbalism skill 140) to grow herbs passively while offline; the Seed Hybridizer (skill 300) upgrades and combines seeds.
  • Legacy perk Bountiful Harvest (5 ranks, available from the start of the Professions talent tree) grants +20/40/60/80/100% more Scarce materials from Herbalism (also Mining and Skinning) — take ranks as points allow since it compounds with every node you hit on this route.
  • Marefoil is confirmed as a new endgame herb (alongside Demonsage and Death Lotus) tied to high-level alchemy/engineering recipes, but no source checked has published its exact zone or skill requirement yet — treat it as a post-300 or very-late-game addition to confirm in-game once live.
  • Whether Druids can gather Herbalism nodes while in Travel Form is unconfirmed. Forever does confirm Druids can now use potions/elixirs without dropping shapeshift form, which strongly suggests movement-form gathering may also work, but no source directly states herb nodes can be looted while shapeshifted — assume you still need to leave form to loot until confirmed in beta/live.

150–225Arathi Highlands, Stranglethorn Vale, Desolace, Feralas, The Hinterlands, Swamp of SorrowsLiferoot, Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar's WhiskerMatch the zone to your character level; Feralas and Hinterlands are good Horde-friendly alternates to Arathi if it's contested.
225–270Azshara, Tanaris, Western Plaguelands, Searing Gorge, FelwoodFirebloom, Purple Lotus, Arthas' Tears, Sungrass, Blindweed, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood, Golden SansamAlchemy's Superior Mana Potion tail (skill 270-300) consumes large quantities of Sungrass/Blindweed — bank a surplus here.
270–300Eastern Plaguelands, Winterspring, Un'Goro Crater, AzsharaDreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom, IcecapTop-tier route; Un'Goro and Winterspring are relatively uncontested for Horde. Watch for Marefoil once its zone is confirmed post-beta.

Data note: Forever-specific for zone/skill brackets and the seed/Bountiful Harvest systems (kingboost.net and wowforever.games both confirm), but Classic-baseline for exact herb-to-zone assignment since none of the Forever sources checked republish a full herb table — the zone list matches long-standing Classic Era herbalism routes, which Forever has not been reported to change. Marefoil zone/skill and Druid Travel Form gathering are explicitly unconfirmed, as flagged above.

Alchemy 1–300Confirmed

This route is adapted for Forever's biggest Alchemy change: the entire Minor/Lesser/Healing/Greater/Superior/Major Healing Potion line has moved to First Aid, so Alchemy no longer has a cheap, drawback-free self-heal to lean on for skill-ups. In its place Alchemy keeps a parallel 'Discolored' healing potion line (Minor/Lesser/Discolored/Greater, using a Murloc Eye instead of a clean reagent) that heals fast but returns ~75% of that healing back as a poison or disease over time — usable as an emergency heal or a skill-up filler, but not something to drink casually while leveling on a self-healing Feral cat. The route below leans instead on the classic buff/utility elixirs and mana/mana-adjacent potions (Minor Mana Potion, Elixir of Minor Fortitude, Elixir of Wisdom, Lesser Mana Potion, Mana Potion, Greater/Superior Mana Potion) that remain Alchemy recipes untouched by the move, since as Restoration-bound Feral you'll want mana consumables anyway. Because you're gathering your own herbs (see Herbalism guide), raw material cost is close to zero outside of vials — buy vials in bulk from any reagent vendor. Horde trainers are called out at each rank; all are reachable via flight path from Orgrimmar/Undercity/Thunder Bluff.

What is different in Forever
  • Classic Healing Potion line (Minor Healing Potion through Major Healing Potion) has moved to First Aid in Forever — do not plan an Alchemy leveling route around it.
  • Alchemy's replacement is the Discolored Healing Potion line (Minor 25 / Lesser 85 / Discolored 135 / Greater 175, each using Peacebloom->Kingsblood + a Murloc Eye + vial). Effect: strong instant heal, but ~75% of the healed amount is returned as a 6-second poison or 12-second disease. Treat these as skill-up fodder or emergency/PvP burst heals, not a leveling sustain tool.
  • Because the healing-potion line is gone from this route, the classic 'grind Peacebloom/Silverleaf into Minor Healing Potions' filler step is replaced below with Elixir of Minor Defense, Elixir of Minor Fortitude, Elixir of Wisdom, Lesser Mana Potion and Elixir of Lion's Strength/Elixir of Minor Agility style utility elixirs and mana potions, which are unaffected by the First Aid move.
  • Merchant's Favor (earned from completed supply crates) unlocks additional Alchemy recipes from the Horde favor vendor (Apothecary Durelle) at 45/75/95/120/130/135/140 Favor: Elixir of Lesser Spirit (65), Lesser Mageblood Elixir (75), Elixir of Lesser Intellect (95), Lesser Cleric's Elixir (95), Lesser Arcane Elixir (120), Mender's Potion (130), Spellblasting Potion (135), Frenzy Potion (140), plus higher-tier Greater Mageblood (175) and Greater Cleric's (195) at 120 Favor each. These are optional supplements/BiS-adjacent consumables, not required for the 1-300 skill-up path, and their skill-up color thresholds are not documented in any source consulted, so none is asserted here.
  • Campsite Alchemy objects unlock progressively: Mana Well (skill 20) lets you brew a slow-regenerating mana buff at camp; Fermenter (skill 140) turns herbs into fermented reagents for higher-tier elixirs; Alchemy Laboratory (skill 300, capstone) is required to craft the profession's best end-game recipes. Build these at your camp as you cross the listed skill thresholds — none of the sources fetched detail exact recipes unlocked by each object beyond gating advanced crafting behind the Laboratory.

Data note: Forever-specific (multiple independent Forever guides agree the Healing Potion line moved to First Aid and describe a similar Discolored Healing Potion / Mana Potion-based route); exact skill breakpoints vary slightly between sources (wow-professions.com, wowprofs.com and classicwowforever.com each give different bracket boundaries) so the ranges above are a reasonable merge, not a single verbatim source. Merchant's Favor recipe skill-up colors are not asserted anywhere in the sources checked and are therefore omitted.

Cooking 1–300Reported

Forever-specific route confirmed via wow-professions.com/forever and allthings.how camping guide, cross-checked against Classic-baseline recipe brackets (mats overlap heavily with Classic). Horde trainers: Orgrimmar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, plus Durotar/Zephras-adjacent starting-zone trainers.

What is different in Forever
  • Cooking now unlocks the Basic Campfire/camping system at skill 1 (crafted from Simple Wood + Flint and Tinder); the fire holds up to 3 crafted camp objects and grants buffs after sitting/crafting near it for 1 minute (buff lasts 1 hour).
  • At Cooking skill ~90 you unlock the Journeyman Campfire kit (5 object slots, requires Star Wood); at ~200 the Expert Campfire kit (10 object slots, requires Thick Logs).
  • Well Fed: crafted food now grants +5% bonus XP from kills (eat 10 seconds for 15 minutes of buff), stacking on top of any existing stat buff the food already gave; the Cozy Sleeping Bag (a camp object/quest reward) raises this to +8% kill XP while camped.
  • Blueprint: Cookie's Feast is a campsite recipe that drops from Cookie in the Deadmines; requires Cooking skill 140 to use. It places a shared feast table (~10 servings) giving basic healing plus the temporary 5% XP buff. Note: reported reagents are drops from level 35+ mobs, so the blueprint is commonly picked up in Deadmines well before you can supply it.
  • Expert Cookbook and Artisan cooking quest gating (below) match Classic-era structure; Forever sources do not report changes to those gates.

Fishing 1–300Reported

Forever-specific campsite tiers confirmed (wowclassicforever.info, allthings.how); zone-by-zone fishing routes are Classic-baseline since no Forever source gave detailed pool locations — fish available scale with zone level, not caster skill, per Classic mechanics reiterated by the Forever sources.

What is different in Forever
  • Fish Bowl unlocks at Fishing skill 20, giving +8% to all stats while camped.
  • Fishing Rack unlocks at Fishing skill ~140 (Journeyman-tier camp object): adds uncommon fish to the pool plus skill-boosting lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
  • Fishing Hut unlocks at Fishing skill ~300 (top tier): adds rare fish plus skill lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
  • Legacy perk 'Luremaster': while a lure is applied, 25% chance per catch to land an extra fish.
  • As in Classic, a zone's fish become catchable once your Fishing skill exceeds that zone's fish-skill floor — there is no need to 'match' skill precisely, just exceed the pool's requirement.

First Aid 1–300Reported

Bandage line (Classic-baseline, from Warcraft Tavern's Classic 1-300 guide) plus the confirmed Forever-specific change moving the Healing Potion line from Alchemy into First Aid (Icy Veins). Where the potion change alters leveling specifics beyond the six potions/skill levels below, that detail is not yet published — flagged as unknown.

What is different in Forever
  • CONFIRMED (Icy Veins): six Healing Potions have moved from Alchemy to First Aid — Minor Healing Potion (First Aid 55), Lesser Healing Potion (85), Healing Potion (135), Greater Healing Potion (155), Superior Healing Potion (215), Major Healing Potion (275).
  • These potions still require herbs and vials (Alchemy-style reagents) but reportedly ALSO require Cooking-made items (Mild Spices / Hot Spices) as a component — exact quantities per potion are not published in sources fetched.
  • UNKNOWN: whether learning these potions requires separate trainer purchase/quest beyond normal First Aid rank-ups, whether bandage skill-up rates changed to accommodate parallel potion crafting, and full reagent lists per potion. Treat the potion track as a parallel/optional track alongside the bandage track below rather than a replacement, until more detail is published.
  • No Forever-specific change to the Expert/Artisan book-and-quest gating was found; assume Classic-era gating below still applies.
