Leatherworking 1–300Reported
You are not skinning on this character, so buy leather, thread and dye from the Auction House as you go and craft the cheapest recipe that stays yellow or green at each range. Below skill 225 this route comes from a Forever-specific guide tested on the beta; 225–300 is Classic-baseline, and Forever recipes reportedly grey about 25 points earlier, so check each recipe's color in game before buying materials for the whole range. Merchant's Favor patterns (Wisdom's, Totemic and Stormrider's leather at 60–125; Skycaller's and Mender's mail at 210–250) can replace a step and are real Shaman upgrades. Build a Tanning Rack at skill 140; several Expert and Artisan patterns need it.
- Leveling brackets and grey-out points differ from Classic Era below skill 225 (wow-professions.com Forever guide, tested on beta as of Sept 2026); above 225 the author states the guide is untested on beta and warns Classic Era Artisan recipes 'turn grey 25 points earlier' in Forever — treat the 225-300 section here as Classic-baseline only, not confirmed Forever skill-up colors.
- Apprentice Leatherworking has no character-level requirement on Forever; Journeyman needs skill 50 + character level 10; Expert needs skill 125 + level 20 (costs 50 silver); Artisan needs skill 200 + level 35.
- A Tanning Rack campsite object (Blueprint: Tanning Rack) unlocks at skill 140 and is required to craft several Expert/Artisan advanced patterns.
- Artisan Leatherworking training is a remote trainer, same as Classic: Horde players must travel to Hahrana Ironhide at Camp Mojache, Feralas.
- ~81 new Azeroth Commerce Authority (ACA) patterns are sold for Merchant's Favor, earned mainly from Waylaid Supplies crates: skill 60-125 patterns cost 30 Favor, skill 175-250 patterns cost 60-90 Favor. Confirmed Favor-pattern sets include Wisdom's, Totemic's, and Stormrider's leather (60-125 bracket) and Skycaller's and Mender's mail (210-250 bracket) — several of these are strong Elemental/Restoration shaman pieces (spell damage/healing, Intellect, Spirit, Stamina) and are Bind on Equip, so you can also just buy them off the AH instead of leveling to the recipe.
- Do not assume Forever skill-up colors (green/yellow/grey breakpoints) match Classic exactly for any recipe not explicitly listed as Forever-tested above skill 225 — verify in-game before bulk-buying materials for the Artisan tier.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1–30 | Light Leather | ~33 | 100 Ruined Leather Scraps (or skin/buy Light Leather directly, whichever cheaper) | Known at level 1 (starter) | Turns yellow at skill 20. Skip it if Light Leather is cheaper than scraps on the Auction House. |
| 30–45 | Light Armor Kit | ~20 (up to ~50 if skipping the step above) | 20 Light Leather each | Trainer (Apprentice, no requirement) | Yellow from 30 |
| 45–55 | Embossed Leather Gloves | ~10 | 3 Light Leather + 2 Coarse Thread each | Trainer (Apprentice) | Coarse Thread from any Tailoring supplier |
| 55–75 | Embossed Leather Gloves | ~20 | 3 Light Leather + 2 Coarse Thread each | Trainer (Journeyman, req. skill 50 + level 10) | Horde Journeyman trainer: Karolek, Orgrimmar. Last ~5 points are yellow |
| 75–80 | Medium Leather | ~7 | 4 Light Leather each | Trainer (Journeyman) | Bank the Medium Leather produced for later steps |
| 80–95 | Fine Leather Belt | ~17 | 6 Light Leather + 2 Coarse Thread each | Trainer (Journeyman) | Yellow from ~85. Alt path: if Medium Hide is cheap, craft Cured Medium Hide (80-100) into Dark Leather Belt (100-125) instead |
| 95–105 | Dark Leather Boots | ~11 | 4 Medium Leather + 2 Fine Thread + 1 Gray Dye each | Trainer (Journeyman) | |
| 105–115 | Dark Leather Cloak | ~11 | 8 Medium Leather + 1 Fine Thread + 1 Gray Dye each | Trainer (Journeyman) | Yellow at 110 |
| 115–120 | Dark Leather Pants | ~6 | 12 Medium Leather + 1 Gray Dye + 1 Fine Thread each | Trainer (Journeyman) | Yellow throughout this bracket |

| 130–150 | Hillman's Leather Gloves | ~21 | 14 Medium Leather + 4 Fine Thread each | Trainer (Expert, req. skill 125 + level 20, 50s) | Horde Expert trainer: Una, Thunder Bluff. Yellow at 145. Build your Tanning Rack once you cross skill 140 |
| 150–165 | Barbaric Leggings | ~15 | 10 Heavy Leather + 2 Fine Thread + 1 Moss Agate each | Trainer (Expert) | Moss Agate sold by Jandia (Thousand Needles), Keena/Hammon Karwn (Arathi Highlands), Lardan (Ashenvale). Alt path if Heavy Hide is cheap: Cured Heavy Hide (130-140) -> Barbaric Shoulders (155-165) |
| 165–175 | Dusky Bracers | ~10 | 16 Heavy Leather + 1 Black Dye + 2 Silken Thread each | Trainer (Expert) | Black Dye from reagent vendor |
| 175–185 | Barbaric Harness | ~10 | 14 Heavy Leather + 2 Fine Thread + 1 Iron Buckle each | Trainer (Expert) | Forever beta ('Live') route instead uses Thick Armor Kit 175-180 (25 Thick Leather + 5 Silken Thread for 5x) if Thick Leather is available at your level |
| 185–200 | Dusky Belt | ~18 | 10 Heavy Leather + 2 Bolt of Silk Cloth + 2 Black Dye + 1 Iron Buckle each | Trainer (Expert) | Yellow at 190. Forever 'Live' route substitutes Nightscape Headband here instead (see next step) if you skipped Barbaric Harness/Dusky Belt |
| 200–225 | Nightscape Headband -> Nightscape Pants | ~6 Headbands then ~20 Pants | Headband: 5 Thick Leather + 2 Silken Thread each; Pants: 14 Thick Leather + 4 Silken Thread each | Trainer (Expert) | Headband turns yellow almost immediately; Pants carry you to 225. Watch for a Merchant's Favor (ACA) Wisdom's/Totemic's/Stormrider's leather pattern in the 60-125 skill-cost band that may substitute for part of this run and is a solid caster/mail-adjacent shaman upgrade once you're mail at 40 |
| 225–235 | Nightscape Headband (Artisan continuation) | ~as needed | 5 Thick Leather + 2 Silken Thread each | Trainer (Artisan, req. skill 200 + level 35). Horde Artisan trainer: Hahrana Ironhide, Camp Mojache, Feralas (remote trainer, same as Classic) | Classic-baseline (unverified on Forever beta past 225) — recipe likely greys earlier than Classic per author warning; check in-game before committing |
| 235–250 | Nightscape Pants | ~15 | 14 Thick Leather + 4 Silken Thread each | Trainer (Artisan) | Classic-baseline |
| 250–260 | Nightscape Boots | ~13 | 16 Thick Leather + 2 Heavy Silken Thread each | Trainer (Artisan) | Classic-baseline |
| 260–290 | Wicked Leather Gauntlets | ~33 | 8 Rugged Leather + 1 Black Dye + 1 Rune Thread each | Trainer (Artisan); sold at limited-supply vendors Leonard Porter / Werg Thickblade | Classic-baseline; use AH if the vendor is picked clean. Alt (cheaper mats): Wicked Leather Bracers, 28x, 8 Rugged Leather + 1 Black Dye + 1 Rune Thread each, but pattern drops from Legashi Rogues (Feralas) |
| 290–300 | Runic Leather Headband | ~10 | 14 Rugged Leather + 10 Runecloth + 1 Rune Thread each | Limited-supply vendor Jase Farlane (Eastern Plaguelands) | Classic-baseline; several alternate Runic Leather recipes exist with different mat ratios for flexibility — pick whichever is cheapest on your server |
- Apprentice (1, no requirement)
- Horde: Kamari (Orgrimmar), Dan Golthas (Undercity), Mak (Thunder Bluff)
- Journeyman (skill 50 + level 10)

Data note: Mixed: 1-225 is Forever-specific (wow-professions.com Forever beta guide); 225-300 Leatherworking Artisan tier is Classic-baseline (unverified on Forever beta, recipes likely grey earlier); Skinning zone route is Classic-baseline layered with Forever-specific mechanic notes (skill-based skinnable range, Tanning Window, Pristine materials, 20-stack hides).
Engineering 1–300Confirmed
This route follows a Forever-specific 1–300 Engineering path (classicwowforever.com), cross-checked with wow-professions.com's Forever guide. You are not mining, so buy stone, ore and bars from the Auction House for each range before you craft; the materials column tells you how much. Train in Orgrimmar through Expert, then with Buzzek Bracketswing in Gadgetzan for Artisan (200–300). Merchant's Favor schematics (SAF-T and EZ-Thro lines, goggles) can replace a step if you would rather spend Favor than buy stacks. Where a range has two routes, the cheaper and more reliable one is listed.
- Merchant's Favor schematics observed for Engineering (45 Favor tier): SAF-T Tabs/Dynamite (25), SAF-T Copper Bomb (55), Satchel of Copper Bombs (85), EZ-Thro Wrap (100), EZ-Thro Copper Bomb XL (130), No Slip SAF-T Padding (145) - all can stand in for the equivalent Classic bomb/powder crafting step at the same skill range.
- 45 Favor tier also covers Mystic/Shadow Goggles (145), Ornate Spyglass (160), Minor Recombobulator (165), Moonsight Rifle (170).
- 180 Favor tier (per foreverchanges.pro): Satchel of Bronze Bombs (165), Clanking Cord/Gizmo Girdle/Whimsical Waistwrap/SAF-T Bell (175), EZ-Thro Fireproof Fuse (190), goggles (200) - a second source (foreverchanges.pro Merchant's Favor listing) instead grouped several of these under a 120-Favor tier alongside Mechanical Dragonling (220), Goblin Land Mine (215) and Mithril Frag Bomb (215); the two Forever-tracking sites do not fully agree on exact Favor costs, so treat the Favor numbers as approximate and check in-game before saving up.
- 270 Favor tier: 225-285 skill items (e.g. Sniper Scope 260, Green Lens 265, Truesilver Transformer 270, Gnomish Alarm-O-Bot 275, Goblin Jumper Cables XL 285).
- 360 Favor tier: skill-300 items, plus a 1,000-Favor 'Engineering Certification' at skill 300 that grants a profession title (cosmetic).
- Gnomish vs Goblin specialization unlocks at skill 200 / character level 30ish, chosen at your class trainer or specialization NPC; Forever kept this Classic-style split rather than merging the trees.
- Campsite Engineering objects confirmed to exist in Forever: Reagent Bot (skill 20), Repair Bot (skill 140), Anarchist's Workbench (skill 300) - sources describe these as a tiered set but did not give per-item mechanical detail beyond the skill gates already known from the request; treat exact functionality as unconfirmed until you can inspect them in-beta.
- At least 5 low/mid recipes reportedly use different materials in Forever versus Classic Era (Rough Dynamite, EZ-Thro Dynamite, EZ-Thro Dynamite II and similar renamed/adjusted recipes) - the steps below use the Forever versions where a Forever-specific guide named them, and fall back to the unchanged Classic recipe name otherwise.
| Skill | Craft this | How many | Materials | Learn from | Notes |

| 1–35 | Rough Blasting Powder | ~66 | 66 Rough Stone (mined or bought) | Known from level 1 (starter recipe) | Forever Merchant's Favor SAF-T Tabs/Dynamite (25 Favor, 45-Favor tier) can substitute for part of this range if you'd rather spend Favor than mine. |
| 35–67 | Rough Copper Bomb | ~33 | 33 Copper Bar, 66 Rough Blasting Powder, 33 Linen Cloth | Trainer at skill 30 | SAF-T Copper Bomb (55 Favor) or Satchel of Copper Bombs (85 Favor) are Forever alternatives inside this window. |

| 116–145 | Flying Tiger Goggles | ~35 | 210 Light Leather, 70 Tigerseye | Trainer at skill 100 | Decent leveling head slot - keep a set equipped rather than vendoring it. No Slip SAF-T Padding (145 Favor) lands right at the end of this step. |
| 145–175 | Bronze Framework | ~46 | 92 Bronze Bar, 46 Medium Leather, 46 Wool Cloth | Trainer at skill 125 (Expert, requires char level 20) | Mystic/Shadow Goggles (145), Ornate Spyglass (160), Minor Recombobulator (165), Moonsight Rifle (170), and Satchel of Bronze Bombs (165) are all Favor purchases inside this bracket. |

| 190–215 | Big Iron Bomb | ~39 | 117 Iron Bar, 117 Heavy Blasting Powder, 39 Silver Contact | Trainer/Expert recipe | EZ-Thro Fireproof Fuse (190 Favor) and Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor / Advanced Target Dummy / Flash Bomb (185) fall in this window; goggles (200 Favor) land right at the top. |
| 215–244 | Mithril Casing | ~51 | 153 Mithril Bar | Trainer at skill 200 (Artisan, requires char level 35) - Buzzek Bracketswing, Gadgetzan, Tanaris | Choose Gnomish vs Goblin specialization here. | 244–245 | Hi-Explosive Bomb | 2 | 4 Mithril Casing, 2 Unstable Trigger, 4 Solid Blasting Powder | Artisan trainer recipe | Fire Goggles (225) and Catseye Ultra Goggles (240) are Favor buys just below/at this point. |
| 245–250 | Mithril Gyro-Shot | 6 | 12 Mithril Bar, 12 Solid Blasting Powder | Artisan trainer recipe | |
| 250–258 | Dense Blasting Powder | ~15 | 30 Dense Stone | Artisan trainer recipe | Alternate path from 250-300 exists using drop schematics (Thorium Widget/Thorium Shells, ~60 crafts/180 materials) if you'd rather farm drops than buy Thorium Tube from the vendor. |
| 258–274 | Mithril Gyro-Shot | ~35 | 70 Mithril Bar, 70 Solid Blasting Powder | Artisan trainer recipe | Sniper Scope (260), Green Lens (265), Truesilver Transformer (270) are Favor buys across this stretch. |
| 274–275 | Salt Shaker | 2 | 2 Gold Power Core, 4 Mithril Casing, 12 Thorium Bar, 8 Unstable Trigger | Artisan trainer recipe | Gnomish Alarm-O-Bot (275 Favor) lines up here. |
| 275–300 | Thorium Tube | ~26 | 156 Thorium Bar | Vendor schematic (~1g 60s) from Xizzer Fizzbolt, Winterspring (Kor'gar / Riverglades) | Lifelike Mechanical Toad, Goblin Jumper Cables XL (285), Masterwork Target Dummy (295), Field Repair Bot 74A / Tranquil Mechanical Yeti (320-listed but effectively end-game) are Favor buys finishing out the tier; Engineering Certification (1,000 Favor) at 300 is a cosmetic title, not a recipe. |
- Apprentice/Journeyman (1-125)
- Horde: Thund, Nogg, Roxxik in Orgrimmar; Graham Van Talen, Franklin Lloyd in Undercity
- Expert (125-200)
- Same Horde trainers listed above generally teach through Expert; confirm with in-game trainer list once you hit 125
- Artisan (200-300)
- Buzzek Bracketswing, Gadgetzan, Tanaris
Data note: Forever-specific (multiple dedicated Forever-tracking sites found and fetched; some Favor-cost/campsite-item mechanical details were not fully confirmed in-source and are flagged inline rather than invented)
Cooking 1–300Reported
Forever-specific route confirmed via wow-professions.com/forever and allthings.how camping guide, cross-checked against Classic-baseline recipe brackets (mats overlap heavily with Classic). Horde trainers: Orgrimmar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, plus Durotar/Zephras-adjacent starting-zone trainers.
- Cooking now unlocks the Basic Campfire/camping system at skill 1 (crafted from Simple Wood + Flint and Tinder); the fire holds up to 3 crafted camp objects and grants buffs after sitting/crafting near it for 1 minute (buff lasts 1 hour).
- At Cooking skill ~90 you unlock the Journeyman Campfire kit (5 object slots, requires Star Wood); at ~200 the Expert Campfire kit (10 object slots, requires Thick Logs).
- Well Fed: crafted food now grants +5% bonus XP from kills (eat 10 seconds for 15 minutes of buff), stacking on top of any existing stat buff the food already gave; the Cozy Sleeping Bag (a camp object/quest reward) raises this to +8% kill XP while camped.
- Blueprint: Cookie's Feast is a campsite recipe that drops from Cookie in the Deadmines; requires Cooking skill 140 to use. It places a shared feast table (~10 servings) giving basic healing plus the temporary 5% XP buff. Note: reported reagents are drops from level 35+ mobs, so the blueprint is commonly picked up in Deadmines well before you can supply it.
- Expert Cookbook and Artisan cooking quest gating (below) match Classic-era structure; Forever sources do not report changes to those gates.

- Note
- Expert Cookbook vendor (Horde): Wulan, Desolace
- Note
- Artisan cooking: Gikkix, Tanaris (post Clamlette Surprise quest, Gadgetzan)
Data note: Medium-high: skill brackets and recipe names are Forever-specific (wow-professions.com Forever section); campfire kit thresholds (90/200) and Well Fed +5%/+8% figures corroborated across two independent Forever sources but exact Cozy Sleeping Bag mechanic not directly confirmed on a single page (inferred from task brief + partial corroboration on kill-XP bonus mechanic).
Fishing 1–300Reported
Forever-specific campsite tiers confirmed (wowclassicforever.info, allthings.how); zone-by-zone fishing routes are Classic-baseline since no Forever source gave detailed pool locations — fish available scale with zone level, not caster skill, per Classic mechanics reiterated by the Forever sources.
- Fish Bowl unlocks at Fishing skill 20, giving +8% to all stats while camped.
- Fishing Rack unlocks at Fishing skill ~140 (Journeyman-tier camp object): adds uncommon fish to the pool plus skill-boosting lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
- Fishing Hut unlocks at Fishing skill ~300 (top tier): adds rare fish plus skill lures, on top of the +8% stat buff.
- Legacy perk 'Luremaster': while a lure is applied, 25% chance per catch to land an extra fish.
- As in Classic, a zone's fish become catchable once your Fishing skill exceeds that zone's fish-skill floor — there is no need to 'match' skill precisely, just exceed the pool's requirement.
| Skill | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1–75 | Durotar coastal pools / Orgrimmar fountains (Troll Shaman); Zephras Isle shoreline pools (Skyborne Druid) — any starting-zone water works | Learn Fishing and grab the Fish Bowl camp object recipe as soon as you hit skill 20. |
| 75–150 | Any Kalimdor/Durotar-adjacent zone water (e.g., The Barrens, Ashenvale coast) — fish anywhere convenient, skill gain is not location-gated below your effective cap | Fishing Rack becomes available around skill 140 — place it at your camp for the uncommon-fish/lure bonus. |
| 150–225 | Stranglethorn Vale coast, Tanaris coast, or any zone whose fish pools sit at/above your current skill | Apply lures for Luremaster's extra-catch chance to speed leveling. |
| 225–300 | Tanaris (Gadgetzan coast/Zul'Farrak canals), Winterspring lakes for Nightfin Snapper | Fishing Hut unlocks at skill 300 — place it once ready for the rare-fish/lure bonus; useful heading into endgame fishing dailies (Booty Bay/Everlook tournaments if present in Forever). |
Data note: Medium: campsite object tiers and skill thresholds are Forever-specific and corroborated across two sources; exact zone-by-zone routes are Classic-baseline generalization since no fetched Forever source gave a location-by-location 1-300 route.
First Aid 1–300Reported
Bandage line (Classic-baseline, from Warcraft Tavern's Classic 1-300 guide) plus the confirmed Forever-specific change moving the Healing Potion line from Alchemy into First Aid (Icy Veins). Where the potion change alters leveling specifics beyond the six potions/skill levels below, that detail is not yet published — flagged as unknown.
- CONFIRMED (Icy Veins): six Healing Potions have moved from Alchemy to First Aid — Minor Healing Potion (First Aid 55), Lesser Healing Potion (85), Healing Potion (135), Greater Healing Potion (155), Superior Healing Potion (215), Major Healing Potion (275).
- These potions still require herbs and vials (Alchemy-style reagents) but reportedly ALSO require Cooking-made items (Mild Spices / Hot Spices) as a component — exact quantities per potion are not published in sources fetched.
- UNKNOWN: whether learning these potions requires separate trainer purchase/quest beyond normal First Aid rank-ups, whether bandage skill-up rates changed to accommodate parallel potion crafting, and full reagent lists per potion. Treat the potion track as a parallel/optional track alongside the bandage track below rather than a replacement, until more detail is published.
- No Forever-specific change to the Expert/Artisan book-and-quest gating was found; assume Classic-era gating below still applies.
| Skill | Craft this | How many | Materials | Learn from | Notes |

| 211–260 | Mageweave Bandage / Heavy Mageweave Bandage | ~50 combined | ~90 Mageweave Cloth total | Requires the mandatory Triage quest (level 35+, save 15 patients before 6 die) then Doctor Gregory Victor (Horde, Arathi Highlands) to unlock Artisan recipes | Optional Superior Healing Potion (215) falls in this bracket. |
| 261–300 | Runecloth Bandage / Heavy Runecloth Bandage | ~60 combined | ~70 Runecloth total | Doctor Gregory Victor (Horde, Arathi Highlands), sequential unlocks | Optional Major Healing Potion (275) falls in this bracket. |
