Is Horde access to the city of Dalaran after the City of Dalaran dungeon intended, and will it be in the launch game

Resolved Updated Oct 27, 2026

Detail

Is Horde access to the city of Dalaran after the City of Dalaran dungeon intended, and will it be in the launch game. Wowhead reported it on Oct 8 from the beta; commenters there say a developer called it unintended, but no Blizzard statement was found. Update 2026-10-09: the access comes from Shrewd Negotiations, the third quest in Wowhead's Heart of Disruption series (take the Arcane Mote to Archmage Celindra in the city), so it looks like a designed step. GamesRadar (Oct 9) also reports it and quotes no developer. Still no Blizzard statement. https://www.wowhead.com/forever/quest=97287/shrewd-negotiations https://www.gamesradar.com/games/world-of-warcraft/new-world-of-warcraft-forever-dungeon-commits-one-of-the-mmos-biggest-no-nos/ Resolved: not intended. Josh 'Aggrend' Greenfield (Blizzard) posted on X on Oct 9 that Horde having full access to Dalaran 'isn't really intended' and that adjustments are likely; Horde Kirin Tor reputation gains are already fixed internally and the fix goes live next week.
