Fact
Warcraft Tavern (Oct 9): the Tome of Dalaran (item 275989) summons the extra boss Lyn the Ignored in the City of Dalaran dungeon. It starts as a Black Tome (item 276561) on a table of alchemical ingredients up the stairs at the back of Arugal's room in Shadowfang Keep; its tooltip says to use it at the Ambermill Leyline Focus, a blue crystal beside Archmage Ataeric in the town hall at the back of Ambermill in Silverpine Forest (63.4, 64.3), which turns it into the Tome of Dalaran. In the dungeon, go through the Underbelly past Atrexis the Grave Knight, keep straight instead of taking the ramp on the right to the Arcane Anomaly, clear the small room beyond and use the tome at the summoning circle on the floor. The article lists no loot for Lyn the Ignored and no faction restriction.
