In the beta, every player in a group can skin each skinnable mob, and dungeon groups skin together. Players on the official forums call it a bug or an economy risk ('skinning raids' pushing leather prices down); no Blizzard reply yet. If it ships, leather for Leatherworking should be cheap on the Auction House. Update 2026-10-02: reversed. Blizzard's Oct 1 beta notes: 'Creatures can once again only be skinned a single time before disappearing.' Do not plan on cheap leather from group skinning.
