Blizzard now applies a Temporary Economy Hold to accounts suspected of buying or selling gold (RMT): trade, mail, guild banks and the Auction House are restricted until Blizzard clears the account or takes action; a hold alone leaves no permanent strike, false positives are possible, and the systems may be deployed to all WoW versions if they work.
