Official Updated Oct 27, 2026

Fact

Blizzard's Oct 26 beta development notes are a final racial tuning pass before launch, posted after the beta closed. Human: Ruthless +1% critical chance (was 2%), Human Spirit +10% Spirit (was 5%). Dwarf: Earth Fury (2% critical damage and healing) removed; new Artisan's Precision, +1% hit chance with spells and attacks. Tauren: Plainsrunning 2% movement speed per stack, 60% maximum (was 1% and 30%), no longer applies while mounted; Endurance is +5% Health only (no hit chance or critical damage). Orc: Savage (+1% critical chance) removed; Command re-added, +5% Warlock and Hunter pet damage. Skyborne: Wind Blessed 2% haste (was 3%); Read Leyline +50% Health and Mana regeneration for 15 sec (was 100%), raised to 100% while Attuned (1 hour after using it at a Ley Line), unusable while Innervate is active; Skysight +15% movement speed for 15 sec (was 10%), 30% while Charged (1 hour after using it at an elemental convergence); Attuned and Charged persist through death. Troll, Undead, Night Elf and Gnome were not changed in this post. Blizzard: racial identity is prioritised, so some races are slightly better at certain roles; weapon specialization racials stay removed because future loot tables should not be judged by required weapon types.
